My humans went to visit friends who live on a farm where they have a bunch of potbelly pigs, a few dogs to protect and live with the pigs, and a few cats who live indoors with keep the humans company. This place they call it a potbelly rescue place. All of the 400 lbs (200 Kg) pigs were found living in terrible urban conditions, in dire health and all alone. These pigs are social animals who need to see sunshine, and feel earth under their feet. They also need to have their toe nails cut on a regular basis. They also need to have their tusks trimmed too, or they will grow into their faces, and cause bad things to happen to their faces. Here at the farm, the piggies have nice piggy and dog friends to live with, nice little houses for themselves, great pedicures and teeth care, lots of nutritous food and water. They seem to be happier than a pig in slop. Overseeing the whole farm is girl kitty. She watches from inside her picture window, and makes sure all the piggies are happy.
The other day, I saw this big bird land in my neighbor's driveway. I looked and looked through the window. I thought the bird might make a good lunch for me, if only I could get outside to catch the bird. Then, I saw it was a vulture who might want to make me lunch! I went to hide under the bed after that.
